Roof was spotless.
Will use it again and 100% recommend it to others as well!!
Used these guys excellent service
I used King Pro Clean because of their videos on Facebook. When I contacted them for a quote, they came out to see the roof and meet me in a matter of days. I’d had other quotes and found Kings to be very competitive. I had the roof cleaned about 2 weeks later and I am so happy with the results. The workers were really friendly and efficient and the whole process was seamless. I’ve recommended them to others and the best but was they did some other jobs like a gutter repair I needed and they cleaned up after themselves too!
Had my roof and gutters cleaned to an amazing standard, can’t recommend enough. Thank you so much
Kings Pro Clean came to our property to deal with our roof tiles and guttering. They put a chemical on the tiles that in time will restore them back to their original colour. It has been a few months and already we can see the difference. They also cleaned all the gutters. All the workers kept the areas tidy during the process and left site immaculate. We also got them to get wash the court area where 5 houses share a drive and their own parking spaces. Again, very impressed with the workmanship. Can definitely recommend Kings Pro Clean.

Your Roof Cleaning Redditch Questions Answered
Why should I employ a professional roof cleaning service?
Over time, moss grows and can build up. When moss is not managed professionally, it is not only unsightly but can also create detrimental problems for your roof tiles and your house. In most cases, excessive moss coverage will cause premature degradation of your roof tiles and roofing materials, and load extra weight onto your gutter systems, which can damage the structural integrity of your roof, causing damage and costly roof repairs and tile replacements.
In the UK, it is not uncommon for moss coverage (in some cases, a carpet of moss!) to form and cover roofs in only a few years. Moss coverage creates a microclimate of dense, organic matter on your roof, and as moss is a porous structure with some species having the ability to absorb 18-20% of its own weight, it can have serious consequences for your roof tiles. When moss grows, it can become unmanageable and can have serious consequences for your roof tiles and underlying roofing materials.
When you have moss coverage, your roof is constantly wet. When this moisture goes through the freeze-thaw process, it can cause cracks and damage roof tiles. If left untreated, the moisture may travel through damaged tiles and begin to rot the wooden components of the roof, causing structural damage leading to leaks, mould and damp inside your home.
The good news is that Kings Pro Clean can professionally remove moss, treating the roof without causing damage through moss removal and roof cleaning services in Redditch.
What roof cleaning services do you employ?
Roof moss removal Method one: Complete moss removal scrape and Biocide cleaning treatment application (non-pressure, dry process)
Our team will meet your roof cleaning needs using high-reach poles and specialist cleaning equipment to access and gently loosen and remove moss, dirt, algae and other debris from the roof tiles. Biocide chemical soft wash is applied to the entire surface area to penetrate the tiles, stop germination of any remaining moss spores and inhibit moss re growth. Our Biocide solution will work over time, lightening and cleaning the roof tiles for up to 18 months after the initial roof clean, breaking down black biofilm materials and dirt, reactivating each weather cycle to activate the roof cleaning process.
Roof moss removal Method two: Moss removal steam clean with chemical preventative treatment application (low power steam process-not pressure washing)
Our low-pressure specialist cleaning equipment effectively removes all moss, algae, lichen, and dirty bacteria that has accumulated on your roof. After steam cleaning, the team complete the cleaning process in the same way as method one by applying our soft wash chemical solution to ensure the roof continues to clean itself over the coming months. A steam clean may be your preferred option for Redditch customers seeking an instantly clean roof for a sale, or if your roof tiles have noticeable dirt and grime from atmospheric pollution and other elements such as carbon staining. .
As standard, with each roof cleaning job in Redditch we complete, we will clear out the gutters of roof moss and debris and remove all moss waste from your property, completely free of charge.
We can provide eco friendly options of moss removal for customers upon request.
How frequently should you get your roof cleaned?
We recommend that we complete moss removal and chemically retreat the roof tiles every 4-5 years after you initial roof cleaning job. This will keep roof moss at bay, limiting the potential for large scale repairs and replacements and dramatically enhance the appearance of your roof, and clean roofs add to your home’s kerb appeal, adding aesthetic appeal.
How should I prepare for having my Redditch roof cleaned?
In preparation for and following roof cleaning, we recommend that Redditch homeowners implement preventative measures and regular maintenance practices for further protection against algae and moss growth on exterior surfaces. These measures may include improving drainage by gutter cleaning, jet washing at ground level and trimming vegetation to increase sunlight exposure. Managing exterior property tasks will ultimately keep you home in good repair, maintain its value and add to its kerb appeal.
How do you ensure accurate roof cleaning quotations?
Our professional moss removal service and roof cleaning cost vary depending on many factors which can include the type of tile on your roof, roofing materials, environmental factors such as shading and exposure to sunlight and existing moss coverage, debris, dirt and algae and moss damage, our recommended method of moss removal, suitable chemical treatments and your preferences and expectations.
